(Muscicapidae; Ϯ White-tailed Blue Robin M. leucura) Gr. μυια muia, μυιας muias  fly; μελω melō  to take an interest in; "MYIOMELA Hodgs.*   ...   *Originally established in 1845, by Mr Hodgson, under the name of Muscisylvia (Proc. Zool. Soc. 1845); which word, having been previously employed, is changed to the above." (G. Gray 1846).
Synon. Muscisylvia, Notodela, Sholicola.
