rouloul
French name “Rouloul de Malacca” given to the Crested Partridge by Sonnerat 1782 (said to be based on a Malay name Roulroul, which, however, appears neither in Winstedt 1949, Wilkinson 1959, nor Wells 1999) (Rollulus).
