Die Gruppe unterscheidet sich von Habropyga durch gestreckteren, verhältnissmässig längeren, seitlich zusammengedrückten Schnabel und den nicht stufigen, sondern abgerundeten Schwanz und nähert sich in diesen Beziehungen der folgenden Gattung [Zonogastris]. Das Gefieder oder wenigstens der Schwanz trägt einen röthlichen Anflug; die Weichen sind fein weiss punktirt Hierher, nicht zu Habropyga, gehört: L. coerulescens. — Fringilla coerulescens Vieill."
