(Psittacidae; Ϯ Barred Parakeet B. lineola) Gr. βολβος bolbos bulb (i.e. bulbous); ῥυγχος rhunkhos bill; "small parrots with broad, blunt bills" (Forshaw & Cooper 1973); "Quoique M. Cassin et M. de Souancé paraissent avoir décrit la même espèce sous les deux noms de lineola du Mexique et du tigrina de Venezuela, il n'en est pas moins vrai que la Myiopsitta, ou, pour mieux dire, que le Bolborhynchus du Mexique diffère de celui de Caraccas.
