PARDALOTUS PUNCTATUS MILLITARIS, subsp. n. Northern Spotted Pardalote. Differs from P. p. punctatus in being darker above, lighter below, and in having a much heavier bill, shorter wing, and a more yellowish vent. Type, Cairns, No. 13,837.
