(Lybiidae; Ϯ Naked -faced Barbet G. calvus) Gr. γυμνος gumnos  bare, naked; genus Bucco Temminck, 1820, barbet  (see Bucco); "*274. Gymnobucco, Bp. (Bucco, p. Temm.)    Africa occid.  1.   * BUCCO calvus, Mus. Lugd. an Lafresn? (Megalaima calva? Gr.) ex Ashantea.  Long. 6-poll: fuliginoso-cinereus; capite cum genis implume: penicillis setarum rigidarum duobus rufescentium ad rostri latera, duobus hinc inde mandibulae, altero subtus antrorsum verso.
