SPIZAËTE, Spizaëtus.  Falco, Gm. Lath.  Bec grand, presque droit à la base, convexe en dessus. — Narines elliptiques. — Tarses alongés, nus, ou vêtus, un peu grêles. — Doigts courts; extérieurs unis à l'origine par une membrane. — Ongles pointus.  2 sections.   Esp. Autour huppé, le Vaill.
