(Thraupidae; Orangequit E. campestris) Gr. ευ eu  fine; genus Neornis Hartlaub, 1846, orangequit; the Orangequit, a Jamaican endemic, was for long included in the "Coerebidae", a hotch-potch group of "honeycreepers" now known to be unrelated; "Tanagrella, Gray.  ...  Euneornis, Fitz. (Motacilla campestris, Linn.)" (Fitzinger 1856); "Euneornis Fitzinger, 1856, Sitzungb. Akad. Wiss. Wien, Math.-naturwiss.
