Alc. rudis Gm.    America: 2. Alc. amazona Gm.   3. — americana Gm.   4. — alcyon Gm.   5. — bicolor Gm.    ...   Aristophan. Aves." (Boie 1828); "Ceryle Boie, Isis von Oken, 21, 1828, col. 316.
